Hyundai Elantra X20: The new begining 2018

As we enter 2018, the expectation of many due item to replace was in mind but never thought is can happened earlier than expected...ohhh money start to flowing out. Refer to the list  http://ritzzuan.blogspot.my/2017/10/work-list-2018.html

In January 2018

1. Replace old Century battery  NS70L with new  Century battery barely 3 years old.It cost me RM320, after trade in with old battery only pay RM300.

2. Front left tyre badly wasted on the inner side. Looks like camber need some adjustment.Change to new tyre as the old tyre was a 2nd hand tyre(cost me RM100 last year) but new tyre only cost me RM250.

The new tyre is from Gremax Capturar CF19 225/40/18, shop say tyre is made in   China . Thread wear only 250. I think it will last for 25,000km.  Thread pattern with 4 water channels, surface contact area look 50/50...just good for normal driving. I don't do over 180km/hr and above

as too many cars on the road. 

3. Engine oil was due to change. Last change was in July 2017, now the mileage has reach 162,000.

    I'm using the Hyundai Eteer fully synthetic lubricant 6L, it cost me RM180, that's about RM30/L.

   The engine only consume 3.8L, remaining balance keep for next oil change. It will not be enough, I   will buy another 6L and have  extra  4L for next oil change.
