Cold Air Intake Hose

Managed to get this flexible air hose hose, it cost me RM90.



The earlier plan set up..I re-use the original intake


The final set-up.. ..cold air will be directed to the filter. When the car is moving at higher speed more cold can be channel to the open pod filter. Next project will be the heat shield.

Open pod air filter noisy?

Many times we hear people say its noisy. Well how noisy is that noise..so I test it on my Hyundai Elantra X20.

Here is the video..dont forget to switch on your PC speaker....Im travelling at 140km/hr....how noisy is that filter..can you hear them? Are you sure its the air filter noise or the tyre noise?

So... its all depends on the design of the filter and size as well. I can hear the noise of the filter once I touch 160km/hr...but the noise its acceptable at that speed.

Hyundai Elantra X20...Poison Sunday!

As above theme...the THM CLUB Hyundai Elantra X20 has did it again.... group installation was carried out today.

The front bumper was removed..headlight was also removed for easy access but anyway after 3rd car, this 2 guys become expert..they are volunteers!


Rather painfull to see the bumper is out..but its for a good course!


Yeah..just like that ! no need welding or bracket.
