How's thats!!.... I have never thought the view from the top looks this awesome. The Elantra HD aircond console and the cup holders really brighten's up the middle console. Anyway this was fitted 2 years ago..not a single LED has blown.

Petrol Price Increase by RM0.20 for Ron95 and Diesel

By midnight, the price of petrol RON95 and diesel will be increase by 20 cent. New price will be RM2.10 for Ron 95 and RM2.00 for diesel. If you have 50L petrol tank, that's an increase by RM10 only but if you always fill up your tank say every week that's roughtly 4 times per month..that will be additional RM40 per month on your petrol expenses. It does sound small..but what worries me is other expenses that might increase as well...

WTS: Hyundai Elantra X20/Avante stainless steel exhaust extractor

The 4-1 extractor is as good as seen here. It's made of seamless stainless steel and welded using stainless steel rods. With 4-1 extractor it will create better acceleration and torque for automatic transmission.

Do not be worry of engine check light or need any modification of the O2 sensor as with this extractor you wont be having any issue. The extractor is design to fit in well for only Hyundai Elantra X20/Avante  and this process is reversible.

My amplifier rack

I have clear up the boot, removing the amplifier,subwoofer, capacitor etc and now we can view how much space in the boot with the amplifier rack. I believe the space is big enough to fit in your golf set! If you custom  made a new amp rack for your Elantra X20/Avante its easily RM1200 above.

Once the top cover is liftout, the amplifier can be access easily

Lower section can be lift up exposing the spare tyre, notice the cloth cover of the amp rack which is well covered even the underside.

This is my favourite boot carpet to make look like stealth mode. Very useful should we place anything wet in the boot as it help to protect the amp....I will give it FREE to the buyer.

Placing your amp in the rear boot is much better than placing under your car seat as interconnect RCA cable can easily be access and you can change them or test any interconnect cable easily...as max lenght require is about 1.5M. However it also depend on the size of the boot space, some car has very small boot space so owner do not have much choice but to place it under the seat.

For Sale :Amplifier wooden rack for Hyundai Elantra X20/ Avante

I have here the amplifier rack for Hyundai Elantra X20. Comes in 3 compartment complete with ventilation fan for continuous cooling . Good quality cloth wrap even to the underside and lasting too. This rack is custom made to be able to access the spare tyre compartment. Weather or not the spare tyre is full sports rim or using space saving spare tyre, its not a problem.

One need to lift up the amplifier rack from the center and expose the spare tyre. This rack is strong and no issue if you plan to carry heavy luggage for "Balik Kampung". It will not damage the instrument.

Selling price: RM550 not including the spare tyre  and sub woofer box.

Out goes the ADM Air Charger, a few grounding cables, Pivot Spark Earth, Stainless Steel Open Pod Filter and few of the cold air intake hoses....thats only 10% out from the Hyundai X20...more to go!!

This is the current stages, the extractor,power cables, performance Guang Dao VR, Ultra Racing bars..phew!!!

My Mcintosh

 

Its been 2 years...a system set up after lots of testing and trying from many well known installers.

 

It was a satisfiying journey in playing ICE in my Hyundai Elantra X20. An analogue system with passive crossover, a Mcintosh 4 channel amplifier, a Mcintosh cd transport , a Mcintosh DAC, Scans speakers, Mundoft capacitor, Scan Tweeters and Van den Hul RCA/speaker cables...what more is require..its actually more than enough. I have achieve what I want. Being toying around with Alpine, Pioneer and finally a Mcintosh. 

 

Alot of time, money, reading and research for the component on the passive crossover has been done...anyway that passive crossover still has alot of room for improvement but till this stage is OK for me.

 

Not sure if there is any other Hyundai fitted with Mcintosh system...or it is me alone! Those who have listen to my system, wish you guys all the best in your ICE journey.

 

Anyway, all this shall remains as precious moment I ever had and I think I will never ever place it into another car as may not achieve the same SQ.

 

And therefore I have decided this system will be remove from my car very soon and transfer for my home use. The Hyundai X20 require another owner. Some of the performance parts will be put on sale..I think not many.

 

To buy a Mcintosh Home Audio may cost a bomb..I prefer to setlle with the alternative.
