Hyundai Elantra X20 power up !!

I had DIY the installation except the wiring and that require the wireman to do it.. Very easy to DIY...30 minutes complete.


This goes out..including the drop in KN filter...

Finally ... the set up is completed...ADM fully operational with open pod air filter.

The idle speed looks like has reduce slightly. Will I get extra 10 horses...that shall be known once I place this car on the dyno machine. But on my butt dyno...yeah...I feel the difference and gear change also alot faster.

Well...the air filter do give nice sound when I throttle hard but behave like ordinary filter once the car at constant speed..I had tried at 140km/hr...hardly can hear any noise from the air filter. There are still small modification to carry out and that I will update here.

Nikon D300 sensor cleaning

I have no idea how the sensor can get this stubborn dirt stick on it. Tried many time using the built in sensor cleaner, it just wont work. I had event expose the sensor and blow air...it doesn't work.


So today I brought my D300 to Nikon SC in Petaling Jaya. Since its still under warranty..the work is FOC. See how clean is the sensor...dammed Im just so happy!

ADM Air Charger

I feel the Hyundai Matrix is having too much power by this ADM Electric Supercharger and I feel with the BBTB installed is sufficient..better transfer the power to my Elantra X20! With 102hp on the Matrix its just not economy to run the Matrix with 15" tyre and the best option is to upgrade with 16 inch tyre but 16 inch tyre is not cheap! So the best option is...take out the ADM and keep the BBTB..meaning I will loose 10hp from ADM but I get to keep my 15 inch tyre.

The drive on the Matrix without ADM really felt different. Its time to get use to it. On the same day also I pour in X1R Engine Treatment..really smooth drive and engine noise further reduce.

ADM is out from Matrix...you have served me well. Its time to go to your new house!!

This is the initial setup but looks like I cant use the original air filter housing. Its just a little bit long. Will have to modify the rubber mount on the ADM but in case I change the filter to open pod..that will be the fast n easy option.

So project of the day is not completed. Removed the ADM from my Elantra X20...time to put on the thinking hat.

In search for new poison

I think its almost 1 years I had not visit Eneos One Utama. Actually you cant take any photos..but luckily manage to slip few shots.

The sound produce by this player...fantastic la. It can pay on USB thumb drive.
