TLC my Matrix!!

I had her washed today morning..not by me but washed outside. Just pay RM8.00 for a car wash complete with vacuum.
Then Im off to re-charge N2 gas to all the tyres. I normally get fill up for free at this particular tyre shop as I know other shops will charge re-charge N2 for RM2 per tyre. But now, I think times are bad..they charge me RM5 only..still very resonable

10mm Quadcore Plug Cable on my Hyundai Matrix

To fully utilized the Bosch F1 Platinum I have install.... http://ritzzuan.blogspot.com/2008/08/bosch-super-4-to-bosch-f1-4.html ... you need a better plug cable and quadcore plug cable is the answer.

Initial installation...kinda messy a bit

It took while of thinking to arrange the cables...

I have to removed a small portion of plastic on the engine cover or else it wont fit in properly.

Ta daaaa...the original engine cover fits in nicely.

After fitting the new plug cable..I started the engine...wow!..frankly..the engine is quieter. I did a short test drive...fantastic!!! Furthermore my Matrix is manual tranny..every gear change the engine just pull effortlessly. Now both of my Hyundai are fitted with Quadcore Plug Cable...

Sorry I cant state the price here. If you are interested please drop me an email: ritzzuan@yahoo.com

The original plug cable...keep lor!!

Its not to say the original plug cable is lousy, with original cable it still get you from point A-B. You still can speed up but with bigger plug cable such as Quadcore plug cable..it provide lower resistance for the current to flow to the spark plug. In other words it provide better ignition, that translate to better combustion and fuel saving. Some owner prefer to use expensive spark plug but maintain the original cable...in actuall fact, you are not utilizing the benefit of the spark plug..paying so expensive plug but getting low benefit is such a waste.

My 1st Prosumer: Canon S5IS 8Mp

I still have this Canon S5IS..even after buying the Nikon D300. Its really a special camera for me..why not..I played with the camera for 2 years and have use them for 3 wedding event as official photograher and countless motoring event.

It has the dial of an entry level dslr and function almost like an dslr. With 8 time optical zoom and 4x digital zoom..I can turn to be an overnight paparazi!!

The best part..its swivel lcd display..taking photos was heaven!!! Never it was a difficult task.

Then I bought its accessories..a wide angle lense with macro and a lense adapter from USA. Its cheaper as well.

Once fitted it looks like this...fierce looking camera.

Complete with lense adapter and lenses >>>>>>>>> Standard lense

The wide angle lense is fantastic..not only able wide angle but including creating spcial effect. All created by the lense and save time using Photoshop

Many times I feel like selling this camera but at the same time I like it very much. So in order to utilised it...I made this camera as my 2nd body or back up camera during wedding event.

LED Ignition key ring

The standard Hyundai Elantra X20 ignition key is kinda boring...so I decided to add some stuff that will enhance its looks. A blue LED ignition key ring.

See it for yourself...you hardly notice where is the ignition key hole..worst during night time..you have to scramble your fingers to insert the key into the key hole!

Now, what if it looks like this...

You can easily spot where is the ignition hole and furthermore it does looks very nice.

Once fitted to the Hyundai Accent LC...you can either decided that it is connected to the door switch or at the headlamp switch.

As fitted on Hyundai Elantra X20.. you can either (please watch the video)...

1) Connect it to your car headlamp switch. So it will stay ON thru out your night driving

2) Connected it to the cabin light...it will take about 30 second for it to automatically switch-off by it self. Also it will light-up once the door is open.

3) Connect it to the cabin light, it will switch OFF once you have switch ON the alarm.

The LED ignition key ring is currently suited for Elantra X20 and Accent 1.5SOHC ( Accent LC). There is one Hyundai Getz that yet to show me if it can be fitted to his ride. I hope more ride can be fitted with this LED key ring.

When was the last time you check your Aircond cabin filter?

I made the habit of changing the cabin filter every year ever since I use Hyundai Matrix. Is cheap RM55 only..so its a small investment for a better quality air. Same goes to my Hyundai Elantra X20...its already more than 1 year now..so I decided to check the condition of the filter...my surprised..the filter is different than my Matrix.... its smaller and have 2pcs.

Lowered the gloved compartment and you will find this cover and removed them

This is how dirty it is....

Compare with the new filter..... even my 2 year old girl can tell its dirty.. so better change them.

For a mere RM75.00...its a small investment rather than I get sick inhaling from a dirty air filter.

Do take note, other than for health, it also good for your aircond system. Replacement of the filter will provide cleaner air and less likely the cooling coil will get dirty over the years of usage. Once the cooling coil get dirty due to poor maintenance..no matter how many time you change the cabin filter..the cooling effect will be very poor. So do take the initiative to change the cabin filter before all this problem start to happen.

So I decided, its time for the notebook to give it a rest. I save some cost on the CPU as I have my own internal dvd drive,160Gb Sata hardisk, 19"lcd monitor, keyboard, mouse, external dvd writer and an original Window XP Home.

The new parts purchase :

Intel Core 2 Duo E7400

3Gb DDR3 ram 1333Mhz

Asus P5Q Motherboard

Additional 500Gb sata hardisk

650W power supply

MSI 9800GT with 512Mb DDR3

ProLogic cassing

Total cost : RM1850.00

With this new system...I can do photo editing much faster and play those 1Gb high intensive PC games at ease.
