The Garmin booklet only advice to charge the battery at least 4 hours...I tried for 4 hours...but after using about 1 hour..battery already flat. There was not many information on the net on how long is the charging process or if there is any notification by the GPS set that charging is completed with in the 4 hours!

It took me 11 hours to charge by computer usb. I've yet to try using the mobile charger...I hope the charging will be much quicker.

Yes..its very helpful. I just bought the wall charger from e-bay..cost about RM50..now charging time completed in 5 hours.
