Elantra X20 Power Upgrade

After the 1st dyno, I proceed with my plans to increase the power of the Elantra. This exhaust shop has been entrusted to do the modification. Its nearby N1 Racing Sunway.

Plenty of extractor for many models. Good workmanship!

Self was not alone doing it...there were other Elantra owner as well...

Out you go...but not discarded...Im keeping it.

Different world apart, different size and different weight

The O2 sensor...

In you go....

Bottom view...the neck sits in nicely..plug n play.

More...more...more...

Standard layout...is too restricted

Removed them...

Align the new center resonator...for more back pressure than standard
Now it looks better

Job completed...

After installation completed, I took a short drive...dammed..it feel so good. And after a couple of days driving...its does feel better. Engine noise has reduce alot, FC not much different and engine is super smooth...Will go for 2nd dyno...hope to touch 130hp.

The extractor is RM480 for 4-1. 4-2-1 also they have, I think its the same price.

Ritzzuan said...

RM450 is the extractor + installation. The old flexible joint no need to change.

You are driving a 1.6 or 2.0L Avante? If 1.6L..I've no idea where you can get it install in JB or in KL.

bro, u had been using the aftermarket extractor for long time...

did u encountered any engine light up issue?

or heard some1 encountered be4?

Ritzzuan said...

No issue at all. There is only 1 O2 sensor not 2 sensor..so no problem.Sixth of us fitted..none have any problem. You can check out feedback in THM forum.
