My TV died!!!

Its a sad day...after 11 years, my Sony 25 inch TV says... sayonara!. I was listening to the news in the other room, when I heard a small explosion and the TV becomes silent. As I went to check the TV and I saw some smoke and I can smell some burning smell near the TV. Now Im thinking..should I get an lcd TV or ordinary TV? I still want a Sony...hmmm. My eyes is already on the 46 inch Sony lcd TV..thatwill enhance my dining hall.
